Hearing Care for Children

Hearing Aid Repairs
Whether you are having issues with your hearing aids not turning on, if they are sounding weak, or if you just can’t get the Bluetooth working - We take same-day walk in appointments to help get you back to hearing. We have a hearing aid lab in house to perform same day repairs. If you are having trouble with your current hearing aids, we are here to help! We carry replacement parts for most hearing aid manufacturers including Phonak, Oticon, Starkey, Unitron, Signia, Resound, and Widex. We can also make adjustments on your current hearing aids if you would like to improve their sound quality and performance in background noise.

Real Ear Measurements
Real Ear Measurements are a hearing aid verification method that is used to ensure that your hearing aids are programmed for your individual needs. With this method, a small microphones placed in the ear canal are used to measure the response of the hearing aid in your ear taking into account the natural and individual characteristics of both your ear and your hearing loss. We can use these measures to fine tune the fitting of new hearing aids, or to improve the sound quality of your current hearing aids.

earwax removal
Our Audiologists perform earwax removal using miniature instruments and a microscope. If you are experiencing frequent wax build up or use hearing aids, we recommend coming in every 6 to 12 months for preventative ear cleanings. In special cases, earwax will need to be removed with the ENT and will be referred out.

Custom Ear protection and musicians earplugs
We carry a full line of custom hearing protection, sleep plugs, and swim plugs. We also carry custom electronic hearing protection for different forms of firearm use whether you are an avid clay shooter or big game hunter. Musicians earplugs are also available, designed with a special filter for your specific musical needs.

Evaluation of Auditory Processing Disorders
We provide in depth testing of not only the peripheral hearing system but also the way we hear with our brain. Auditory processing disorders can be identified in children and adults. People with auditory processing disorders often experience difficulty understanding speech in background noise, even with normal hearing acuity.
